The Retirement Drawdown Simulator is a free web tool that shows how long your retirement savings will last when you draw living expenses from them each year. It reflects how the withdrawal burden changes before and after your National Pension starts.
Balances are projected year by year from the assets, living expenses, and return assumptions you enter. The return scenarios are only there for comparison under different assumptions — they do not guarantee or predict actual market returns.
The most anxious question in retirement planning is 'how long will this money last?' This site exists so you can see in numbers how the answer changes if you trim living expenses a little or retire a bit later.
This is a simplified calculation that does not reflect taxes, health insurance premiums, or detailed inflation changes. For important decisions, consult a professional as well.
